After a three Peat I decided to step down

Hey guy's,

I've come to a conclusion that this pool is simply dead. I'm done putting time into something that simply do not care about us or me. Like I've been logging in to see if I would see some activity but it's always the same friendly face that I see over and over which is fun but can't be acceptable. This norm we live in is not acceptable or at least not for me. It sucks stepping down from such a great team that I've assemble threw the years but I just can't put more time into something that is drowning . This time of year should bring the activity threw the roof but nope this isn't our reality. So for those reason I am stepping down and I'll put my focus into a league that deserve my attention.

I have profound respect for Arizona, Ottawa .... for keeping this place afloat.  I also have mad love for  everyone that kept the activity up like Arizona, Boston, Ottawa and so on. I'll be honest we had some great times and some not soo great but all in all I had a blast  threw the years. To be quite Frank. I could barely write this text since it hurt my soul  at the idea that I was giving up on such a great league and the team I've molded.  It sucks we couldn't  save this league.  This is it from you most active gm!!

I wish everyone the best of luck with everything !!  I wish you all the best !!   By the way I've been partying with Ovy since  we have a few  things in common (the Cup and being champion). lol!!  Just had to do a little dig before  I leave lol!!

I am sad I missed the good years for this pool. I have to echo franks thoughts on trading. It is so difficult to get a reply on a pm and if somehow u get a reply then working out a deal. Then when the deal is made it may not pass the subjective deal vote. All these items made me not even attempt to make any deadline deals even though I was a contender that needed a little boost. I am not sure how a pool fixes these issues as it’s really hard to reengage in a pool when so many people have checked out.

In fairness, Frank sent me a message on Thursday afternoon and then posted this on Friday night. I just saw the PM this morning. If you're going to pin your decision of leaving based on an unread PM...you probably had one foot out the door already. Considering he and I made a trade this season and he and I have been in leagues before...he should know me better than this.

I'm not going to apologize for not checking my PMs here every day because we all have lives outside of these leagues. I'm a new father and I'm lucky to find a few hours of free time each weekend to engage in the leagues that I'm in. Frank asked me if I'm interested in making a trade...and right now, I'm not interested in making any moves right now.

I have to imagine that this is the lull in most fantasy hockey leagues. We just had the entry draft over the weekend...we do our draft this week. Free agency in the NHL starts this weekend. I have to imagine the movement in the actual NHL affects the plans of everyone here and in any other dynasty/keeper league.

We all need a break from this stuff each year.

After talking with Mr.Zona, I've decided to give the league another chance. This way I may have a shot at a four peat!! Hopefully the activity can pick up in the upcoming weeks.

I'll be honest, I won't be overly active on that chat app. I have it on my phone but I'm not going to be a slave to it. If you guys want to talk trade...just send me a PM. I'm not going overboard with communication. I'll keep it to a minimum because my free time is limited.
