Congratulations to the San Jose Sharks for winning the inaugural 2014/2015 Stanley Cup in Real NHL GM. And a big thank you to everyone for making it an enjoyable season.
The schedule for the summer 2015 offseason:
Enjoy watching playoff hockey - Baseball season as well for those interested
Trading - Now open again. 2018 picks cannot be traded until our amateur drat is completed.
Check In - We will have a check in in the coming weeks to make sure we have a full league going forward for the 2016 season. We do have a spot or two open already so if you know anyone that would be interested, have them join and let TAB know so we can get them setup.
Move expired contracts from your roster to a resign section on your roster pages - Resign will be done later this summer but this gives you an idea of your roster and your cap situation. Reminder that you cannot exceed the cap at any time.
Resign (Opens on Sunday May 31st at 12pm EST) - It will be open for 3 weeks. Any player not resigned will go to UFA. You have 2 chances to resign each player to a maximum 4 year contract if you choose. Prior contracts have no bearing on resign amounts, please use previously resigned players as comparisons.
2015 Amateur Draft (Begins Sunday June 28th 12pm EST) - Actual NHL draft is June 26+27. Draft order was determined using last seasons final standings with 1st overall determined using actual NHL lottery result. This is a 3 round draft. Eligible players include those drafted in the actual 2015 NHL draft only. All newly drafted prospects taken in the actual NHL draft but not taken in here will be awarded to their NHL team's GM here. Contracted teams picks not taken here, and actual undrafted free agents who are no longer draft eligible are UFA's.
UFA (Opens Sunday July 26th 12pm EST) - UFA will open up. Standard rules.
Waiver Passes - Will reset at the start of the first game of the 2016 season, so early October.
